I’m always honest. My good life long friend from home (Cambridgeshire) is the manager here. Now the football season is over my weekends are a bit quieter. I promised I’d come visit. Pub is in a lovely part of the world. Sadly the weather was very British and wet on the day we visited. But the location by the river is lovely. Sunny day. Cool beer and a pub meal. This place is winning. We had a meal inside. Pie of the day was good. Decent portion. Hot. Loads of veggies and mash. Nice vibe inside. Despite being friend service was good. It was authentic. James the manager prides himself on happy customers and a buzzing team. I’m a wheelchair user. Parking great. Good access inside. Accessible toilet too. I’ll be back or stop when passing on the way south.
Stunning location right at the Shepparton Lock… a place of absolute natural beauty overlooking the Thames river with lots of walkways. A lovely ambience with pub grab options and plenty drinks and cocktails..,
The most favorite and atmospheric place for families to relax. The food is always very tasty.5
The Thames Court is one of my favourite pubs. Winter or summer. It never fails to impress and delight. Yesterday's visit was no different. Beautifully, understated, elegantly placed Christmas decorations created a wonderful backdrop for a delightful fireside chat & lunch with friends. Excellent food and service, as always. The staff is very friendly and professional. Menu changes seasonally, yet favourite traditionals like fish & chips remain, ensuring comfort and consistency, that you can expect from a real country pub. I have been going there for years, it really feels like home.
We just went for a drink and a snack. Lovely sunny day, sat outside. Good service, very relaxing. Looking over the river.
Great place for a Sunday roast, great food and service.
Nice riverside pub with lots of outdoor seating. Good food served promptly by pleasant staff. Excellent Sunday lunch apart from roast potatoes being over salted. Pricey.
